SOFIIA (Sofia Tarasova). Started singing at two and a half. Represented Ukraine at Junior Eurovision 2013, placing second. Spent two years in a Ukrainian girl group before going solo. Now: "off my mind."
Story
SOFIIA has been performing since before she can really remember not performing — singing before school, competing before her teens, representing her country on a European stage at twelve years old. That kind of beginning teaches you two things early: how to work, and how to be looked at. Both show up in her music now. "off my mind" isn't a debut trying to prove something — it's a voice that spent years inside a group, finally saying exactly what she means, on her own terms. She's said hardship has always felt more honest to her than comfort. You can hear it. The songs don't flinch.
